No experience is required. Junior Basic is beginner-friendly, and our instructors teach each skill step by step while helping students feel comfortable, capable, and supported.

03 Can martial arts help my child with focus and discipline?

Junior Basic gives children repeated opportunities to listen, follow directions, manage their energy, complete tasks, and work toward goals. These habits can support stronger focus, discipline, and responsibility at home and in school.

04 Will martial arts make my child aggressive?

Every child begins differently. Some students need help building confidence, while others need support with focus or self-control. Our instructors meet students where they are and help them improve through structure, encouragement, and consistent expectations.

Yes. Parents are welcome to observe and celebrate their child’s progress. We simply ask that students stay focused on their instructor and the class while training.

07 What should my child wear to the first class?

Comfortable athletic clothing and a water bottle are perfect for the first class. No uniform or special martial arts equipment is required for the introductory lesson.

08 How often should my child attend classes?

Most Junior Basic students attend two classes each week. Consistent attendance helps students remember skills, build confidence, improve fitness, and progress toward their next rank.

09 How long does it take to earn a black belt?

Every student progresses at their own pace. Earning a black belt is not about rushing through ranks. It is about building knowledge, discipline, character, and skill through consistent training.
